Ingredients

A can of chopped tomatoes

1 onion

2 garlic cloves

½ a cup of vegetable broth

¾ cup cherry tomatoes

A teaspoon of coconut oil

2 teaspoons of powdered turmeric

½ teaspoon Himalayan salt

A pinch of black pepper

A tablespoon of ACV

A teaspoon of dry basil

Preparation

Fry the onion and garlic in a saucepan on medium heat for a few minutes, then add the cherry tomatoes and the turmeric. Once the cherry tomatoes are soft, add the canned tomatoes (and the sauce from the can), veggie broth and ACV. Add the dry basil in the end and mix well. Now, simmer the mixture on low heat for 5 minutes, then stir it well and add the black pepper last.

The soup works thanks to the anti-cancer properties of its ingredients. Turmeric has anticancer and anti-inflammatory properties and can fight diseases such as arthritis, heart disease and cancer. Its active compound curcumin has been a subject of thousands of studies which underlined its ability to kill colon, breast and skin cancer cells.

Tomatoes contain a rare antioxidant known as lycopene which has powerful anticancer properties. Lycopene can also reinforce your cardiovascular system and prevent heart attack and strokes.

Finally, black pepper is another anti-inflammatory agent that can boost turmeric’s bioavailability and make it all the more powerful.

Experts suggest eating this soup twice a week to lower inflammation in your body and prevent a variety of diseases. It’s tasty and easy to prepare, so you’ve got nothing to lose by trying it.
