The twelve Dirty Dozen items are the following: apples, strawberries, celery, grapes, peaches, spinach, sweet bell peppers, nectarines (imported), cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, snap peas (imported) and potatoes.

Fruits and vegetables with the least pesticides are the following: avocados, sweet corn, cabbage, pineapples, sweet peas (frozen), onions, mango, asparagus, papayas, eggplant, kiwi, grapefruit, cantaloupe, cauliflower and sweet potatoes.

Baking soda is the second option. You should mix 1 tablespoon soda in a bowl and leave the fruits and vegetables in for about 15 minutes. After that, wash them well under running water.
