The Duchess of Cambridge showed off her flawless complexion as she cheered up survivors of the Grenfell Tower blaze in London, meeting with parents and children at a community centre in London.

The 35-year-old looked elegant but comfortable in a purple coat that she first wore when pregnant with Princess Charlotte. The coat, which had a hint of sparkle, topped a black frock, which she  coupled with sensible, black opaque tights and velvet court shoes to brave the chill of the UK’s current cold snap.

The young royal won high praise from fashion and beauty commentators for her look, with People magazine noting her “gorgeous blowout” that left her with a head of bouncy, loose curls.

Catherine was celebrating the work of the Rugby Portobello Trust at its community centre in North Kensington, where she met privately with families who had loved ones in the June fire, The Daily Mail reported.

The trust has been a key support for survivors of the blaze, helping to distribute much-needed donated funds to families who lost everything when the tower block went up in flames.

The duchess looked in great spirits as she met families benefiting from the services, and helped prepare for a Christmas party, as well as giving out Christmas presents to children whose parents attend the Magic Mums group.

Catherine praised the work of the trust saying, “It’s amazing for all of you to have this support, particularly at such a difficult, such a tragic time,” The Daily Mail reported.

Catherine also presented a letter from herself, William and Harry, which praised the community for working tirelessly to recover from the tragedy.

“This is just really to pass on huge congratulations to everyone for all the hard work that goes on here by everybody ,” she reportedly said. “So well done to each and everyone of you – this comes from all three of us, congratulations to you all.”

The Duchess is back into the swing of royal duties after battling hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness, during the first few months of her pregnancy. Her third child, a sibling to Prince George and Princess Charlotte, is due in April.

She looks so happy! Did you enjoy your pregnancy, or feel rotten throughout?
